One summer day in the early nineties, a young James saw Jurassic Park in the theater at a middle school birthday party, and was forever changed - then and there, he put on his snap bracelet and decided that he wanted to work in film.
James is now a freelance video editor who has cut TV shows for many national networks and digital platforms. He has experience with just about every genre - talk, docusoap, renovation, outdoor adventure, food, and competition - from development to series. Whether comedy or drama, he is obsessed with using pacing, music, and sound design to craft and elevate impactful moments.
Some interests outside of the edit suite include 3D printing, retro video games, and books by David Mitchell - as well as humble bragging about being a charter subscriber of the Criterion Channel, which is a very normal and cool thing to do.
